  1. Hi @byxx! As I can see it's not possible anymore, the Kontakt plugin reports all available outputs to Seq/Sam and you can't change that within Kontakt. Up to Kontakt version 5 there was 3 versions of the plugin: the full 64 output version, a 8 output and a 16 output version. Unfortunately NI seems to have removed the 8 & 16 output plugin from Kontakt 6. In Independence you can define how many outputs you want but that's not possible in Kontak. What you can do is to set up the mixer in Kontakt with 16 stereo channels and assign them to separate outputs in Kontakt, save that as an output section preset and also save current output section state as default for: VST plugin (the old VST 8 & 16 outputs still listed to confuse so don't select any of them) Restart Kontakt to activate the changes. When you load Kontakt in Seq/Sam this will give you 16 stereo track + 4 stereo AUX and will use 40 of Kontakts outputs and the rest of the unassigned outputs will appear after the AUX's so you can easily delete these. Best, Thomas

    Independence 3.6

Ok, thanks Thomas! Great to hear that they keep on updating Independence

    Independence 3.6

Great ,thanks Thomas! I wasn't aware of the 3.6, thought 3.5 was the latest ... where did you get that one? Have the separate Pro licence as well, in my Magix downloads there is only 3.5 available (but the download file is still named 3.2!?!) The support download here is also the 3.5: https://www.magix.com/int/support/pro-audio-downloads/ Best, Thomas
  4. Hi @Artbluevibe! Just select all tracks in the mixer and add the plugin to a slot, it will be added to all selected tracks. Best, Thomas
  5. Ok, the line: "You can change this device once a month through the Magix Service Center" indicates that but it also refers to 2015 version, the website might need an update ... It seems to have been dropped as support said this in 2017: "Originally this could only be done once per month, however this restriction was dropped" https://www.magix.info/uk/forum/deactivate-activate--1182177/#ca1314065 Keep us updated how it goes ... Best, Thomas
  6. Hi Alfonso! I believe it is right that the monthly rental model only permits one activation/computer at the time ... However, where did you find the information about the once 30 day limit? As I understand it used to be so but they dropped that limitation some years ago: https://www.magix.info/uk/forum/deactivate-activate--1182177/#ca1314065 To switch computers there are 2 ways of deactivating / activating Start up the none activated program on the new computer you wish to use - you should be prompted that the installation is not activated and do you wish to activate - doing so will deactivate the other computer activation. Logon on the the magix.com website, login to your account and under My Products you can activate / deactivate the appropriate computer - you should already have activated each installation to do this. Some new problems in ProX 4

Yes, as HHfallback say, there is a 32-bit bridge to use them in the 64-bit version of Pro X4 but it takes more resources and can be buggy with some plugins ... If you really need to use a lot of 32-bit plugins there is a 32-bit version of Pro X4 as well but it's not installed by default, you need to do a custom installation and select the 32-bit version. order of SENDS AUX

Aha, great! Thanks @rods!!! Best, Thomas

    order of SENDS AUX

The strange behavior with backwards routing is that you can get audio glitches sometimes with playback or just at mixdown, it has been discussed before and is mentioned here:

    order of SENDS AUX

Yes, a reset does reset the AUX sends ... sorry, I should have been more clear ... Btw, it's recommended to have all the AUX returns to the right in the mixer, after all the tracks and busses, you can get strange behavior if routing things backwards ...
  11. TotteG

    order of SENDS AUX

Ok, sorry you are right, it doesn't update the order automatically, only if you do a reset of the AUX ... (it does change the order in the "Track AUX Send" dialog, right click on the AUX on/off button) Best, Thomas

    order of SENDS AUX

Hi @cmbourget! The only way that I know of to change the order of the AUX sends is to is to change the order of the AUX return tracks (with drag & drop), the sends will follow that order ... Best, Thomas
  13. Hi again @cmbourget! Another workaround ... If you have the mixer in focus and have a solo button selected you can use the let/right keyboard arrows to toggle between the solo buttons and use Enter to Solo/Unsolo (to see if an item in the mixer is selected look for a red triangle on the button, knob, fader ...) You can use it for mutes, rec, monitor... etc as well. Best, Thomas
  14. Hi @cmbourget, welcome to Samplitude! A worksround is to use track 1 as a ”Marker track” and put empty Midi objects, name them like ”Intro” ”Verse” etc and give then different colours. You can then use the Object manager to navigate between them or create matchning Markers in the normal marker lane to navigate with and just use the ”Midi objects” as visual guidance ...
