The thing is: I don't have a preamp, necesary for the phono signal and my sound card (Creative Extigy) does not have it eider, the question is: Is it possible to do it via software? (Samplitude 8) Greetings! you can, but the music compared to the noise you'll record, is pretty bad... Just get a chep pre or buy one of those Numark USB turntables... Pres are like 30 and up... Derek Report post Posted February 4, 2007 Hi Castellanos You can use most any audio app for that purpose, even audacity, whis is freeware . A great option also might be Music Cleaning Lab 2007 XXL, which aint only a great piece of software by Magix ,but also is shipped with a preamp. I hope that helps.
