According to the site Elastic Audio will be available in Samplitude pro and Sequoia version only. Also the 'light' version of Samplitude, MS2008, has Elastic Audio(easy that is), so why not give Samp 10 Elastic Audio also. I don't get it.

jandrews Report post Posted October 31, 2007 The (former) Music Studio is a consumer app and any functionality that it has that "looks" like the same functionality in Samp Pro is not the same quality. Samplitude Classic and Samplitude Master use all the same processing as Samplitude Pro. FYI: It's my impression that one shouldn't assume that Samplitude Master is the Lite version. It's simply the 2-track version. I think Magix has made this clear by including the Restoration Suite in Samp Master. That suite is not include in Classic or Pro. Samplitude SE is the lite version of Samplitude/Sequoia.

That suite is not include in Classic or Pro.Samplitude SE is the lite version of Samplitude/Sequoia. this seems to be true, but it is in clear contradiction with what samp devs answered to my question concerning the differences between music studio and samplitude. once they said "music studio has less features than samplitude, but what it does it does with exactly the same quality", and another statement was that "ms and samp use the same audio code". however, other people are denying exactly this. so what now??? i'm really really confused and i do not understand the policy of not giving clear answers. PLEASE GIVE ME - AND MANY POTENTIAL USERS - SOME CLEAR ANSWERS about this topic, please! for a real pro it's clear: i would not hesitate one second to buy the pro product, but for people that are still on the way to this (or do it just as a hobby), decisions about so much money would IMHO deserve a honest options overview! this does not make easy the decision whether it's worth to upgrade or not! (from ms 2008 / samp SE to samp).
Volker Report post Posted November 13, 2007 >on the brochure it says that Samp 10 WILL have Elastic Audio Easy >and also MMC, but on the site it says you have none I can tell you exactly for the released versions 10.0: Samplitude 10 (standard version) has Elastic Audio Easy, but no MMC included. AFAIK this also is the intended feature state by product management. So I'd say, the other information is wrong. Can you tell which brochure you are refering to? And which links on the Samplitude site? Regards, Volker
ast Report post Posted November 13, 2007 The EA easy for Sam 10 was indeed missing on the website until we corrected it last week. It was correctly stated for the German version though. Still remains the question of MMC and which brochure says it's included. André
Abel nT Report post Posted November 14, 2007 so what now??? i'm really really confused and i do not understand the policy of not giving clear answers. PLEASE GIVE ME - AND MANY POTENTIAL USERS - SOME CLEAR ANSWERS ------------- do NOT BUY ms2008 if you need the real samplitude. do NOT BUY ms2008 if you need REAL compatibility. ms2008 is a totally joke. Samplitude 8 or 9SE have much better sound. -ligh years ms2008 is like a small car with big "turbo" stick in the window, and horrible v10 tunning.... if you need to compose space invaders themes for you phone, buy ms2008. if you play "guitar air" and u want record-it, buy ms2008 i do not buy ms2008 for other reasons IS THIS CLEAR? YES VERY CLEAR THANK YOU! unfortunately, i've already bought the ms 2008 and i play airy guitar and not cell phone melodies.. i really wish i could exchange ms2008 with samplitude, 'cause sam SE is indeed much more stable here. there should be a special upgrade offer for those who have both sam SE and ms2008 (and 2007 and 2006)..
