Focusrite Support is impressive!

Recommended Posts

I was still receiving the lost ASIO buffer message so I contacted Focusrite support to see if they had a fix. How was I to know that I'd not only get a reply but have the tech take control of my computer and solve the issue for me, and on a Saturday no less?!! Now that's what I call fantastic customer service! :D Kudos to Focusrite!

I'll post the fix here in the event there are other users with this problem.

- Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\MAGIX\Samplitude

- Right-click on the 'sam.ini' file and select Edit.

- In this file, please add the following line anywhere in the [Setup] section:

DisableDroppedASIOBufferSWDetection=1

- Then save and close. This should now prevent this error from appearing in Samplitude.

I'm not really sure. I haven't had any issues or dropouts. Everything is running like a well-oiled machine. I'll post back if I run into trouble but so far all is well.
